Hello there,
Just wondered how many Pool supporters are near me ? I am living in Warickshire, not far from Coventry (what an irony) and would be happy to "pal-up" with any other hartlepool fans living near by...ish to attend away matches in, and near, the Midlands . Don't get to that many games though I do try ( MK Dons,Peterborough,Forest,Leicester....and other clubs Pool have played in the Midlands recently).

as a long term coventry exile. i live and work in coventry whilst trying to get to as many local games as possible which have to be planned as i am also heavily involved in midlands sport.
cannot wait for weds night as it puts me in a win win situation.
Sky blues are a championship club and should win so no loss of face if we do . Given the organised defence i saw yesterday with a goalkeeper that saves freekicks and long distance shots rather than flapping at them as they sail into the net, Coventry will have to work hard.

We have enough flair and skill to put one over on what has been their dodgy defence. rolf

I still can't quite believe this fixture has come about, an act of God ? I have been in the Midlands for 10 years now and work just outside Coventry....my work colleagues are dropping me off at the ground and then I'm off to the Pool end! Like you I think Coventry will be nervous in defence and in front of "lower league" opposition. They had a pretty dull season (last) and tend to be unpredictable.
Maybe see you there ?
