I know this season is going to be the hardest in our history with some real quality teams in the division?
I know we can't compete with the spending power of Huddersfield, Southampton or the pedigree and history of the mighty Leeds United.
I know we have 'underachieved' apparently....
I know we only get gates of 4,000.
I know some of our players aren't the best
But I just cant help it COME ON..................! Show fight and togetherness and just get stuck in and we will all hold our heads up high.

Nowt to beat!

Where do you come from?...Hartlepool
Who do you support....Hartlepool who? The mighty Hartlepool

I couldn't agree more, Borthwick.

I prefer would treat it as any other start to the season: just see how we get on Saturday, let's hope tomorrow could be the start of a great campaign of football, let's see how far we can get , there's no immediate pressure for points if we should lose tomorrow.

Tomorrow should have a very positive air about it:, you know: celebrating the fact that football's back, a day out in a great stadium, a couple of drinks, a great football match and maybe (dare I say it) 3 points!

I think we're fully capable of getting 3 points, if not one, if we've learned from the game in February.

COME ON 'POOLS!!!! clappp clappp clappp

I came out of that match, as I did at Orient last season and said "How on Earth did we lose that?"

We made them look so ordinary back in February, so I thought not only them equalizing straght after Lange scored was an insult, but to beaten by a team who didn't exactly set the world alight during the match by THREE goals was a disgrace.

Let's not forget also they've changed their manager.

It doesn't necessarily work for a team straight away with their old manager the second time around (i.e. us).

Are you sure you dont want to run for MP for Hartlepool with an answer like that you would fit in fine. Making a comment that has no depth and point to do with whats actually going on

Well, it was a good game, as I say....up until the point where they scored three totally undeserved goals.

Do you need tickets for tomorrows game?

I am driving home from Germany for leave tomorrow via the Channel Tunnel.

If I can pay at the gate might pop in on the way up the M1 and lend my voice to the party!

We're getting ours by the gate before entering the ground tomorrow.

Do you need to pre-order or be on a database of anything and what the cost?

I have been thinking of going to this game for a few weeks now, but thought the wife would want taking out on Saturday night but she wants to stay in, hurrah!

So I could get of the Eurotunnel at 11.17 at Folkestone and then its only about 2.5 - 3 hours to Milton Keynes....

Back home to Hartlepool at about 8.30ish everyones a winner.
