Not only are Chester back in but Bury have been stripped of the dosh for winning the second rould tie and its been handed to Chester.

If I understand things rightly, it was impossible for them to get written permission since it had to be submitted the Friday before the game, but on the Friday before the replay Pools were still in the Cup and therefore not yet willing to give permission.
I guess Bury have only themselves to blame for not knowing the rules but I honestly don't believe the punishment fits the crime.
