It's about time. After all the carry on and having to 'prove' they are worthy of being an international standard ground, hosting tests to the smaller cricketing nations (and then seeing Cardiff host one so quicky after the regeneration at Sofia Gardens, which must have been a bit frustrating) it's good to know it's been worthwhile.

So that'll be one match thats a draw then.

Chester le street is just too far North to guarantee a decent amount of play over 5 days.

Especially as its bound to be the first or second test.

I know some of you love Durham and your local cricket, but............its just a fact of life. We have shit weather.

Even in a bad summer its 4-5 degress warmer down south.

So its a four match series.
