Liddle is a good utility squad player but he's definitely not good enough to be a League 1 regular.

He's not impressed me in midfield nor at right back last season so perhaps this is his last chance to impress. I wouldn't care he looked flucking class when he first came to the club.

It was League 2, you can file him next to Nelson and Monkhouse who were world beaters at League 2 but are totally ordinary in League 1.

He played ok in the Sheff Wed game at CB

I might be talking ballocks but I remember Liddle having a great game on the left wing once.
