The bairn's was £72 last month. However, the price changes so often that they don't print it on the forms any more. You've to check on their web-site for the latest offer.

I am gutted foolishly took it out on an all day session with my old uni mates, due to the fact being youthfully handsome, i get ID now and again. Now I cant find it my mate is doing the rounds of the pubs we went in to see if it turns up. How long do they normally take to get as I need it for the end of October

The Durham office had it all done inside a fortnight, but we sent the application during an off-peak period. Sure it will be ready before October, peak or no peak.

But, check at the cop shop...someone's probably handed it in there.

Just rang the turnip farmers police station, whats the point in lost property when I get a response like this, "well so far we havent had it handed it in but it wouldnt matter as we have to send it to the passport office, were you would then have to get a duplicate (when asking about this it ment a new one), therefore you will have to pay for it"

They only hope now is the pubs but I am not holding my breath.

I got a new one recently. I filled in the form on-line which they then send you to sign and add your photo. You then send it off. It took about 3 to 4 weeks in total. It might be longer for a lost passport and you might get called in for an interview.
