A lot higher than I thought it would be, was pissing down at kick off time as well.

This just goes to show how little IOR/Pools need money I reckon, this is our only home pre-season friendly, compare and contrast to the White Elephant friendlies against Sunderland, Newcastle and Middlesbrough.

Had it been sensibly priced we could have easily doubled that though surely?

It was our only pre season home game and only 1400 Pools fans turned up......

I said nothing about being rich, just commented on how it looks as if we don't need the money.

He's just saying we don't need buckets and it's unlikely we'll leave any local businesses out of pocket in the near future.

Actually fook that, compared to Darlo, we are loaded. We are consierably richer than yauuuu.

We need the money from them friendlies, it could make a big difference to the budget, no sugar daddy for us now, I take it IOR will be underwriting your debts again this season?

TBH I think that's a pretty good attendance for a friendly which ultimately are fitness and experimentation exercises in the main

I think we should only start to worry if we lose to the likes of York, Horden and Gateshead to be honest.
