Dunno if any of you fellers ever worked at Surtees Steel but one of the guys who ran the company,Glyn Larkin,is an old mate of mine.
For the last 3 or 4 years he has been running the Astronaut pub in Billingham town centre & keeps a signed Pools shirt on the wall.
Sadly he died a week gone saturday & his funeral was today,a very sad occasion,Im just thankful that his brother managed to contact me in time to tell me about it,gutted that I didnt know he was ill though & never got to see him before he went.

Rest In Peace mate
