Maybe the ex Man Utd keeper, the great Chris Turner will take up the role of goalkeeping coach, he is doing everything else at the moment. Saying that don't we need goalkeepers to be able to coach them?

i think he means to actually coach goalkeepers you need to have some in the first place,simples

I think a solid goalkeeping coach is very important.

It's a specialist position that needs a different type of training to other positons.

When dimi first came to pools he looked very very raw, but good goalkeeping coaching improved him loads.

Let's hope pools get someone good in.

Think Mark Prudhoe was our Goalkeeping coach at that time, he has a good reputation (and of course was an excellent keeper in his day). He went up to Hull with Phil Brown a couple of seasons ago which led to us getting George Wood

I never rated George Wood, but it appears Wilson does.

We managed without them last season - just.
