I agree it would be funny Elvisc, but i think boro will do ok, they'll keep most of there players, got some youf coming through, got the relegation release clauses in there contracts.

I agree - Newcastle are in deep shiite. Either they are going to have to do some serious off-loading, or a buyer will need to put a lot of money in. Otherwise they could be the first big name casualty of financial meltdown....they could always go and boost Gateshead's gates I suppose.

It will be interesting to see how all the north east sides do next season.
I too think Boro will do better than the Mags. They still have a good youth system, just relied too much on some of them it seems. But lots have premiership experience and are young and committed, not overpaid egos with no loyalty. I think Boro will be top eight. Newcastle are a pantomime. Anything could happen with them...
And I'm really looking forward to the new pools season if we sign another three or so players in key positions, we may have a good chance of competing in the top half of the table. Hoping to make it to a few more matches as well

I get a bit sick of supporters of both clubs continually raising ther names of Scunthorpe and Doncaster with patronising contempt ..... and the fact that both sets of supportersv seem to think it's gonna be a stroll.
