Excellent prices there, but...

"Concessions include over 60s, disabled supporters, under 16s and armed forces."

What about students?

Should have to pay your way for something, it's not like you have a social life to cater for

Well, unless I actually get on to Coventry and ask whether they do concessions, I should imagine those prices should be for students as well.

If they don't POK then i suggest you write a strongly worded letter to your local mp, if not him, go above his head, go straight to brown.

Go on, put your pen right in browns hole

Pot that brown pok, trust me once you do, you won't go back.

It's like the discount for students - only a few clubs in the League do it I think.

These discounts should be for all the 92 League Clubs, that means 'Pools as well.

I'm a one-legged soldier, my birthday is on February 29th. I've lived for 60 years and just had my 15th birthday.
By my reckoning Coventry will have to pay me £24 admission.

Why should forces get discount ahead of other groups?
I mean, I know they do an important and dangerous job and all that...but what about firemen? Ambulancemen? Coastguards? Prison Officers? Bouncers? The person who closes the door at Greggs on a Saturday afternoon?
What about them?
Soldiers get their digs paid for. They'd be loaded if they didnt spend all their wages on alcohol and prostitutes
It's favouritism

Can I just point out that HM Forces do not get their digs paid for, it is deducted straight from their pay. I hear what you are saying though and believe it is probably just a simple token gesture by CCFC.

Depends.

Wne on exercise or operations you get your hole in the ground for free. What more can you ask for? The bit about prostitutes is correct though

35 Sigs and 1RRF are based close by, they probably just spotted an opportunity to get a few bums on seats. Maybe they'll bring their prostitutes with them and bump the attendance a bit.

I haven't got in for half price since Port Vale away when we beat them 2-0 two seasons ago. I then went straight to the bar. Jackpot.

To make up for it though, I regularly buy pensioner tickets for non pensioners that are going to the games.

As long as I am scamming opposition teams somehow I sleep well.

They should let soldiers in for free. Complete with guns. Then they could shoot all thoose nasty Leeds bounders who have the affrontery to nick across a corner of the pitch.
