Boyd and McSweeney are signings 1 and 2, Hartley would be number 3.

Have we really seen enough of Rune to be confident that he'd be a good signing? I know he's obviously a good player but he's never really played regularly since about 2004 and the injury he picked up against Leicester was a pretty bad one. When that happens to your shoulder some people never really shake it off, Bryan Robson springs to mind.

maybe try to keep him on as well as getting a new striker in.
instead of being left with people like foley.

But can afford to gamble a fair bit of wages on somone who might play 10 games?

I'd rather see us trying to bring in a bit of a different option, someone with real pace or a target man. We have Boyd and Brown who on paper are an exciting prospect as a front two without even having to look any further, we still need one or two other forwards as back up obviously but should that back up really be an injury prone 32 year old?

Gordon Watson wasn't injury prone, he just had his leg snapped in half which forced him to retire, Turner talked him into coming back and it was a masterstroke until some lump from Darlo snapped his leg again, Lange however is injury prone!!

Thinner than Sam Parkin for a start, probably more pace as well.

Why so he does, so maybe he wouldn't be included as one of the 'six or seven' still to come in. If he's going to sign though we still need another striker as it would be a gamble to presume Lange is going to be fit for the majority of the season.

If he is he then great as he's already shown that he has quality.
