Great news that CT is delivering what he promised - a fans chance to question him at the Rovers Quoit Club on June 4th.Adam Boyd will be there for his 'Welcome Home' night...Cant wait!

I hear his new keeper, who is breaking off a family holiday in Greece & set to sign in the next few hours, is going to be alongside CT & Boyd at the Rovers Quoit Club that night too.

When does he think Hartlepool United will win a Trophy, Title or Cup, play in the championship or have a proper run in the cup , 5th round etc does he expect it to be within the next 30 years? because time is flying by and I am getting very worried that I will leave this earth having never seen this happen.

How does he think we will fare this season , personally I think fifth off bottom would be a tremendous achievement , given that we have already lost the best part of 30 pts due to Leeds and MK Dons, been joined by Southampton , Charlton and Norwich in our division.

There is no reason at all why we can't beat Southamption, Chartlon, mk dons, leeds or norwich, especially at home.

Explain to me why you think instantly we should write them games off as defeats?

While he was poor for the majority of last season I dont think the fans will get on CT's back for offering him another contract. Most fans would have been susprised had he not been offered another contract.

a rather large exaggeration that like, might have been responsible for 5 maybe 6 (which is still too many).

However with a more solid keeper and decent full backs he will be back to his best (if he re-signs)

I'd hazard a guess that he was responsible for at least saving a dozen potential goals too.

He has to go,enough of the sentiment ,since the day Wilson paired him alongside Antwi, his decline has been alarming.

Butterworth at Norwich has been linked with him but some of our defensive displays under his 'coaching',particularly in the last two seasons,would make you doubt his general judgement too.

He needs to move on and we must bring in better,sorry Nels but thanks for the good memories...long ones!

no he doesnt NEED to do anything, i think the fact that he is being linked with bigger clubs suggest that he is a very good league 1 defender, and a very good league 1 defender he is

Nelson has been a joke this year..his only decent game was the telly game against Stoke ..good shop window stuff.

Try and picture him in his first few seasons ..the shaven head & his ferocious will to WIN!!

Please dont get me started on his 30 yard passes...which NEVER arrive to the place he was aiming for.

We can and will do better..come on Butterworth do us a favour and take the liabilty please.

well the only other 'point' you make is that his form has dropped, which can be said for the majority of the team since we were promoted. And the point you make about him having one good game last season is ridiculous. It seems you're the one with the blinkers...

Nelson had to contend with 2 rubbish goal keepers, 2 players who couldn't defend playing at full back and another centre back he just isnt suited to with. Correct the full back areas, stick Dimi in goal and Ben Clark next to him and the Nelson of old will be back.

Just picking up your point on Nelson & Clark together..way too slow together..again fine as a partnership x2 years ago...in the lower division.

Beckford Cox & others will be rubbing their hands with the thought of lining up against that partnership..there is another question for CT next week!
