well according to a Cov City website, Swansea want him on loan, we are interested but can't afford his full wages (£7,000 a week according to them) whereas Swansea can afford it.

No offence to Dimi, but if he is on £7,000 a week then we need to look elsewhere as we have NO chance of affording him in a million years.

If we can afford him then great, sign him up, if not then lets move on and sign up a couple of solid league 1 keepers

He's no longer listed on the official Coventry site so his move must be imminent.

The average championship player earns around £4k a week so I heard. The highest Hartlepool earner earns £3.5k a week so I heard.

I really hope not - I would of hoped there were very few players in the squad worth more than 2k a week and certain players should be on no more than 400-500 quid a week....

What Jonny said sounds about right to me. I can't see any Pools player being on £3.5K per week, much more likely to be that the top earner is on around the £2K mark. Which is why there has been the protracted negotiations over Dimi's possible return - I reckon he will be on three times what our top earner gets.

wats the big fuss about dimi he was very inconsistant up until our promotion year, ok he got the record for the most clean sheets but we had a solid defence back then and the league was crap aswell as we won promotion at the first atempt along with two other clubs that come down with us,he's since moved on and done nothing really.

he is a goalkeeper who is good enough for top 6 of league 1 or maybe even championship. If we want to be a top team in League 1 then we need top players, Dimi is a top player. He is one of our best ever goal keepers who played pretty consistently in the highest league we have ever played in.
