So to add to Southamton, Charlton, and Norwich it's either Shrewsbury or bloody Gillingham now, we'll be doing some miles next season.......

That will be good for me though if the Gills go up.

Now half the county of Kent will probably go that day now.

No, I know it will be bad for all of you and I undertand that - I'm just lucky to live 5 minutes down the road from them and they are 90 minutes from going up.

But there's still a football match to win yet.

Play-off fever has returned to Kent, it seems !!!!

Lucky to live 5 minutes up the road from the Priestfield stadium, you say? Hmm, I think that could be debatable. Lucky wouldn't be the word that I would use to describe living in that location and I live in Walthamstow!

I know what you mean, eastlondon - it's not exactly the most cultured place in the world, but everything's luckily readily accessible down here.

There's a decent chippie 5 minutes from the ground here. What more could you possibly want?

If it were to revert back to Division Three North and South again, there are so few teams up north we would probably have to include the midlands and possibly Kent anyway in order to make the numbers up sctatchinghead

I hope MK Dons and Millwall stay in this division and Gillingham get promoted. I'm sick of the sight Leeds now, especially after they invaded our pitch, and I'm secretly hoping they win the play-offs and leave our division.

It's not as bad as you make out -you forgot to mention our other new derbies : Exeter, Wycombe and Brentford.

Seriously, if the Gills win then the football league won't need to reintroduce div 3 south and north. It will already have happened.

What about The Lake District, decent chippies, and the A174?

Look Mr Mad are you trying to tempt him north, god forbid.......tell 'im nowt and leave him where he is. Unless of course you could arrange a game of hopscotch for him on the A174.

All this talk of the A174 (which I had to look up) set me off on a surfing trip.

Isn't it amazing the things you sometimes take for granted without ever asking why.
This was one of mine until today: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Brit ... ing_scheme

I always wondered why Hartlepool Highway was the A689.

I went to Fleetwood and I've been to Hartlepool, so I know what the North's like.
