Totally agree Sussex. What a contrast between the US and UK leaders - the bold, confident Trump and the insipid, indecisive, squirmy Starmer. Starmer's living Labour PM predecessors Brown and Blair must cringe with embarrassment every time they see him 'perform' while his deceased counterparts such as Wilson and Attlee will surely be turning in their graves.

Depends how you want to look at it. I've got no time for Sir Keith, but Trump just comes across as an ill mannered arseole.

Starmer looked like a little schoolboy out holding his hand up saying the equivalent of “I can do that” or “I’ve done this, look at me” everytime Trump said anything about the positive stuff he’s done for America.

He gets results.
He makes change for the better.
The world leader of peace.

While our absolute crank can't even make one country peace. (what was our England).

Because Starmer has masterminded policy f*ck ups of monumental proportions as his semi house trained MP’s act like clinging chewy toddlers demanding their way.
His main role is to slip us back into the E U through the cat flap at midnight and hope we don’t notice….

you do not have to like trump but have to respect him for the change he promised. starmer promised us change but not the one we wanted. the polls say it all and his support might drop even further after that. talk about looking out of his depth.

I hope he does, the Tories would have done the same. I’ll get my EU Passport back, no queuing at the airport for my passport to stamped, no visa required if I decide to change my location where I want to retire too.

Whats he achieved, due to the introduction of his import tariffs he will be forcing up the cost of living in The States. He said he would end the Ukraine Russian conflict in a week, that was a year ago ? He has a new nickname, TACO, Trump always chickens out, threatening all sorts then backs down.He is a loose cannon’, I posted this vlog earlier,
some say he is turning out like Biden losing his mind.

Starmer just can't 'read the room' he's so consumed by his own agenda, which does not align with 75% of the population, hence why he will ultimately fail, his party's decisions are now becoming more desperate and naive, which is a sign of a failing term and hopefully a one which will end soon.

Ahhh the old queuing at the airport whinge! We queued before brexit and we queued after brexit too. Quite often the EU queues are longer than the non EU queues too. Besides which, you usually have to wait for your luggage anyway after customs!

I always think I am in the wrong queue when entering the country at the airport.

I'd like to think there are potential candidates within the party with the nous and intellect to replace the gormless oaf, but the more I see of the cabinet and colleagues he surrounds himself with I get the impression they're all singing from the same song sheet, really shocked that within the party there hasn't been more rebellion to unseat him, which in itself says a lot about the bunch of spineless nodding dogs.

think everyone would do the same as he has done. he is not going to promote dissenters or people with a difference stance to him. anybody who rebels knows the consequences, loosing the whip and basically useless to their constituants.

I am not a Trump fan but he believes what he says at the time and acts.
He advised Sir K S that to win elections:- Reduce tax, reduce immigration, etc.
Trump tries to do what he says but our leader is impotent on many issues. He needs to get out of human rights bondage and deal with immigration because Farage will if he doesn't. It is not a case of disliking foreigners, we simply cannot afford large numbers!

ps I was a war baby and have voted labour most of my life but not recently!

Reduce immigration to halt tax rises isent rocket science.

Not a chance of tax cuts dispite Trumpy good advice.

I can see a tax thresholds rise in 28 which isent a real cut because of what we paying now and the next 3 years.

Unfortunately Starmer is probably the very best that Labour have to offer from a sea of has- beens, wannabees, never will be amateurs and the ranks of the woke barmy- army. There is always good old Jeremy Corbyn of course!

Trump rolls over to Putin every time, first a 50 day deadline now 10 days then he is going introduce sanctions, there is always a country looking for cheap, oil and currently tankers freely delivering it where ever to who wants it.

Yes the Lab Wokes were gleefully slagging him off as they thought that he would be readily defeated in the polls by that Democrat airhead who hasn't been heard of since - well not in the UK anyway. I don't particularly like Trump as a person and concede that he churns out some wacky rhetoric and makes some dubious decisions. However he is a strong leader, unafraid to speak his mind and is of the calibre that the UK has not seen since Maggie T.

P.S. Anyone who has the bottle to unashamedly admit on this forum that he/she actually voted Starmer's Thickets into power deserves respect man!

Some folk are clutching their handbags at colourful politicians and feel comfortable with bland wafflers running a country, like the one we have,….Starmer , the white bread of politics (with nowt added).

This time last year Trump talked all the time about the ‘Epstein List’ at his rally’s to the ding a lings who make up a lot of his support, Twitter was ablaze with rumours and fake lists ( usually just a lot of names people hated) but has it been pointed out to Trump he’s on the real list? as he at first said there was no list then said it’s a Democrat conspiracy, still the gullible people still love him. when you’re in charge of the richest country on earth you can look decisive and ‘tell it like it is’ even a dummy like Starmer would clever.

I didn’t vote for any of them. Labour out of their depth, Tories clueless and Farage talks a good game but never looks at the other side of the story. I agree that the EU had too much power. But coming out of a free trading community was like asking your pet turkey to come for Christmas lunch. The country is 3 trillion in debt. That equates to 42k per household. Successive governments are spending you the publics money on boat people , proxy wars , foreign aid, damage caused by Brexit, debt which occurred through Covid mismanagement ,
Inability to prioritise pensioners, both parties , mismanagement of energy resources both parties , selling off state assets conservatives . Deferring to Trumps tarrifs and incredibly inviting the sociopath to the UK. Now that I have educated you go back to fascist agenda and dream on. Nothing will get better . Fact

Fact

Rants from crazy old expats rolling off figures their heads and making assumptions mean nothing to me.

Define a fascist…remember that ‘Nazi’ was an abbreviation of ‘National Socialist’…,,that’s the people who invented fascism.

So who are you voting for…?
Because if you’re not voting, what’s the problem, it’s been solved for you, your aerated burden lifted.

Mad dogs and Englishmen go out in the midday sun …as Coward said.
