I think after it's successful inception this season their should be an award for the the champion of this noble campaign. A person who has stood up above others in respect for officials, fair play, and sportsmanship.

May I nominate Mr Didier Drogba for tonight alone. The way he congratulated the Barcelona players in reaching the Champions League final was almost humbling and shaking the Refs hand at the end despite the three blatant penalties he failed to give Chelsea was a true 'Freddie Flintoff-Brett Lee moment.

Mr Drogba, you are a bastion of the respect campaign. Football is truly the gentleman's game.

The sliver goes to that lovely German chap, Micheal Ballack.

rolfl rolfl Drogba would have chinned him if people didn't hold him back, have to say the ref's 'decisions' were very very questionable. To turn down 1 penalty appeal isn't a problem.........but FOUR genuine penalty appeals?? having a giraffe springs to mind

He has himself to blame. The bloke is a cheat and he falls to the ground like he has just been snipered everytime he gets his shirt pulled. I'm glad he got done over tonight, partially makes up for the decisions he's got previously when he's cheated like fck.

seen all the palaver on Sky Sports News - is it a glimpse into the future European super league when a team gets beat? Portugal's team didn't cover themselves in glory after getting knocked out one year either. This is what money has done to sport and sportsmanship.
Now somebody justify to me how the premier league and the champions league is the pinnacle of football, and I will tell them they are full of sh-it, regardless of their answer.
