I've just watched the goals and although I wasn't at Anfield, the mugs defence (notice the spelling there kids!) is almost as bad as ours!

Ehhhhhh what a bounder I am for saying that!

pools are the only north east club guaranteed at this stage not to be relegated/go out of business this season.

indeed in a couple of weeks we will probably be in the division directly below 2 of the north easts " big three " for the first time since god knows when.

so things could be worse.

Just caught a bit of 606 (which is generally shite when Danny Baker isn't on, I mean 'DJ' Spooney for cn.uts sake) and a mug was saying clubs like Hull should take the drop before Newcastle

I really hope they go down and that cn.uty wunty Shearer remaining hair falls out

the mags are still getting gates of 50,000.

we have had a bad season, but how bad will their fans be feeling if they get relegated ?

in addition to that i was reading yesterday that they havent even got a clause in the players contracts allowing them to reduce their salaries if they get relegated. apparently nobody dishing out the contracts thought it worth including as they didnt think it could happen. all of which means they could be in serious financial trouble next season.

They'll be busting a gut to sign Joey 'I'm a changed man' Barton

I heard them on the radio driving down the A1 this afternoon and they were saying how if Newcatle were relegated, the 'Geordie Nation' would be devestated and the region a wasteland ....I have two questions .....
1, Who are the 'geordie Nation' FFS and....
2. It's a fooking footy club FFS, how can any sane person the results of a sports team being relegated be described in such ludicrous terms .
