Think i would rather him play right wing me personally now we have signed Boyd. Attack down the wings he can get the crosses in and cut inside leaving other teams full back in his wake.

got to agree with you on that one i much prefer him on the wing. when he was upfront at the start he missed quite alot of easy enough chances that i would have expected him to put away, and managed to score the harder ones. I always preffered him running at players which he does on the wing and doesnt seem to get as much chance to do up front. i always thought his ability to make runs and read the game was poor compared to rest of his game, which doesnt make so much difference on the wing as it does up front.

doesnt score enough goals up front to be a striker, he is better suited on the right wing were he terrorieses defenders

He can play anywhere he fookin' likes but if we manage to keep Nardiello I'd prefer to see the latter and Boydy up front with Brown playing a very attacking role from further back or further wide.

I hope for James's sake and ours he isn't going to turn out injury prone.

only thing is if he is injury prone....i think its more a damage on his potential than ours.....he is going to play at a higher level unless his knees are gone....if they are i think he may well stay with us for majority if not all of his career

Boyd's forte was never down the middle, he came from all over the place. He's not the feller to score from a centre or a corner, he worked at the angles, on the edge of the box and from a short corner, finding a gap and leaving someone for dead. Brown is the same, very clever with his feet and deceptive. Nardiello is a power player, runs and runs and runs.

Then again, we don't know that Nardiello will be here next season, but I don't think the future wil be that dim if he isn't.

Dimi
Sweeney Clark Nelson/New CB Skarz/New LB
Brown Liddle Jones Monkhouse
Boyd Nardiello

Doesn't seem that bad on paper, really, though I can't see Monkhouse, Nelson or Clark staying, and Nardiello, Dimi and Skarz are only possibilities.
