He's going nowere mate and If thats the case it's the waiting game, If the board IOR and Turner cannot see we need shot of 8 or 9 of the players we will struggle again. Infact do what Dave Penney did at Darlo rebuild the whole fooking squad around Brown and Boyd

Nothing to do with PR for me at all, I buy my ticket like everybody else to watch the team Boyd is just a good move and if the Dimi move comes off too i'll be more optimistic and the sooner they get shot of that defence the better.

Nels to Hibs - rolfl

Collins can welcome to the board too and Mcunnie and both "keepers"

couldn't agree more! clappp

I would like the following people to welcome to the board out of our football club and not return.........

Turner
West
Nelson
Collins
Liddle
Butz
Lee-Barrett
Foley
Robson
MacKay
Boland
Send Parker back never to return
Jones (Harsh but I think he is ineffective at this level)

I'd keep.........

Monkhouse
Power (get him fit, tell him to lose weight and give him a chance)
McCunnie (give him a fair crack at right back)
Sweeney
Clark

Undecided about...........

Nardiello
Humpherys (I'm a sentimental fool)
Boyd  if we didn't sign him who else would have, come on be honest now...........

These players managed to achieve the exact goal defecit they had to avoid today, absoultely spineless excuses for professional footballers. We have stayed up in spite of them not because of them.

If Turner stays they can stick the season ticket up their arses. I'm supposed to be happy cos we have stayed up but I am so angry right now.

Some centenary season this turned out to be! Oh and the Centenary Season has finished and that book STILL hasn't been released by the club.

Have a nice summer...............

He's fit as a lop and any weight issues he had were solved last year. I don't know why people still buy into him being unfit and overweight.

McCunnie has had a fair crack at right back. But not in centre midfield where I believe he could be quite capable.

Nardiello got three goals from eight starts. He showed his class against a good Leeds team. Get him kept and get him fit enough to last 90 minutes.

Turner - agreed - went backwards since he left...passionate but not a manager now
West - same as turner
Nelson - he is sh!t.....takes some games by the scruff of the neck...maybe not confident in anyone he's playing with...i only see nelson leaving if someone buys him
Collins - jesus this guy is appauling...now i will admit i never seen the games wen we first signed him when he was supposedly good....but just as bad at passing, slower...can not play him n nelson together ever
Liddle - went backwards....dont know why but keep as bench player...covers a lot of positions
Butz - we not going to sign 2 keepers...sign dimi, keep budtz as backup
Lee-Barrett - just go......showed some signs of improvement at beginning of season but somehow (is it possible) worse than last season
Foley - time to go....but you know he will sign a new contract....AGAIN!!!!!
Robson - again nothing wrong with bench player...seems happy enough and proved during that spell when he puts his mind to it he can be decent....wont get many other left wingers who will sit no bench as good
MacKay - go to somewhere like york......probs do well
Boland - good player...but injury prone....we need a younger version
Send Parker back never to return -
Jones (Harsh but I think he is ineffective at this level) - if you think he should be released and sweeney kept god knows what you are seeing....put him in the middle and sweeney right wing

I'd keep.........
Monkhouse - only plays when he wants too....seasons like this one he is a passenger we can not afford to carry
Power (get him fit, tell him to lose weight and give him a chance) - give him a couple of games...if not good enuf then get rid.....i doubt he will hold down a first team position tho
McCunnie (give him a fair crack at right back) - he's had a chance....most natural right back but need an improvement...maybe attempt centre mid
Sweeney - he touches the ball literally 4 or 5 times a game....not involved enough...again perfect when doing well but not in a relegation scrap - decent squad player
Clark - only if he plays centre back....best one at the club

Undecided about...........

Nardiello - id sign him up instantly....even the commentator on SSN today said how he celebrated...plenty of skill and scores goals
Humpherys (I'm a sentimental fool) - not good enuf imho.....but is obviously going to be at club until retires before following barron into coaching side.....if not too expensive to keep...back up
Boyd  if we didn't sign him who else would have, come on be honest now...........i think boyd is only going to be successful with hartlepool....if he doesn't try then realistically his supported club is going to struggle....he will care about us remember....i just hope ppl realise he is not going to have changed and chase every last ball

if he's as fit as a 'lop' then he's clearly not rated by pools, who would rather play a centre back in there ahead of him.

I'm sure the friday nights in the loft don't go down well with pools either.

But he's a footballer and has to be over the town with girls hanging off his arm.

He'll be non league shortly best enjoy it while he can

Good for you. If Pools don't fancy him and don't think he's good enough, then fair enough. It's nothing to do with his fitness or weight.

Before making such sweeping statements like half the players should fuck off you have to consider what budget is available when attendances are down, it would be nice to spend loads of cash to bring in quality but do you relaistically think thats going to happen. Players like Lidds and Jones should never be released nor should Nelson - they have shown enough to warrent contracts. Also Foley and Robson are probably on low wages so are worth keeping if that is the case as you know what you are getting with them. Anyway from the squad i have put * next to the players I would keep, and R's next to the ones to release.

(?) 1 Jan Budtz Goalkeeper
(R) 2 Jamie McCunnie Defender
(*) 3 Ritchie Humphreys Midfielder
(R) 4 Willie Boland Midfielder
(*) 5 Michael Nelson Defender
(R) 6 Sam Collins Defender
(*) 7 Gary Liddle Midfielder
(*) 8 Ritchie Jones Midfielder
(GONE) 10 Joel Porter Striker
(*) 11 Andy Monkhouse Midfielder
(*) 12 Ben Clark Defender
(*) 14 James Brown Striker
(*) 15 Antony Sweeney Midfielder
(?) 16 Alan Power Midfielder
(?) 17 David Foley Striker
(R) 18 Michael Mackay Striker
(*) 19 Matty Robson Midfielder
(*) 20 Daniel Nardiello
(R) 21 Arran Lee-Barrett Goalkeeper
(*) 22 Jonny Rowell Midfielder
(?) 23 Rune Lange Striker
(?) 24 Martin Young Midfielder
(?) 26 Matty Tymon Striker
(?) 27 Joe Tait Defender
(R) 29 Keigan Parker
(?) 30 Mark Cook Goalkeeper
(?) 34 Joe Skarz

Some players i am undecided on or don't care either way but one person that needs replacing with someone competent is Chris Turner.....

Almost agree entirely although I would add Power and Mc Cunnie to the list that can go. I would keep Humphreys but not as a left back, and would try and keep Nardiello.

Did I say i would release Nardiello? Think if you check I said I was undecided...........its all about getting your facts right.

Have you seen anything of Power to not give him a chance in the first team??? Foley, Robson and MacKay all get plenty of chances with first team appearances whether as sub or starts. This lad hasn't and I cannot imagine he is not as good as or better than those 3?

On reflection I may have been harsh about Jones, but it was 10 mins after the final whistle and I was angry. Having said that, the rest of them can get to fooook.
