My loving superpoolie is not

Under the thumb, so can you please stop saying he is. We discussed him using our spare disposable income, for watching 22 silly men running around a grass covered area for an hour and half and after he had his 5 minutes say, I explained over the next couple of hours why we couldnt afford it and he say my way of thinking. This is not being under the thumb but 2 adults sensibly discussing what they can and cant afford. We came to a compromise which will see him give up his season ticket and attend between 5-10home games a season, which in these current financial situation is very fair on my part. It will also allow him a pint at half time though not before the game as that would add to the expense. i also said he could attend some away games, what he called big games, whatever that means. So he should at least get to 2 away games next year. Once more this is not my loving superpoolie being under the thumb but both of us coming to a compromise. We have a young family who now tops his priorities and watching men run around on grass has to drop down that list of priorities. We hope to add to our loving family soon, and money will be needed for the new baby's welfare. Superpoolie is more of a man than anyone who thinks travelling around the country watching football is fun, he has grown up considerably since moving in with me and he will continue to see that somethings need to be given up for the better of his family. Please stop saying he under the thumb, its childish and immature, by so called grown up men, who should have a woman in their life to put them right, this after our discussion is all I have done in making him see he can have more fun on a saturday with his family at the park, shopping and spending time with their new grandparents getting to know everyone. To superpoolie, we will be happy and it soon be saturday night and you can have your weekly treat from me. and that doesnt involve football. Love you superpoolie.

what about if pools win a "big" match is mr superpoolie allowed an extra pint to celebrate after the match?
is he allowed to shout abuse at the ref and call turner a c**t? is he allowed to cheer when pools score a goal?

If my woman tried to tell me how many Pools games i could go to and tried to dictate my money to me, i would make the chain attached to the sink shorter and tell her to welcome to the board............ I am obviously writing this now as she is at work and normally looks over my shoulder when i'm on here
