Carl Froch!!!!

I watched the fight last night....just caught it by accident on ITV!!!! :grin:

What an amazing fight....he got hammered all the way through the fight until the 12th and final round....what a come back!!!! :shock:

It was the first time I'd seen him fight....but what an hard bastard he is....and he done it in Taylor's back yard!!!! :coool:

I'd love to see it again....has anyone got it taped or if it's shown agaon on one of the ITV channels can someone tape it for me????

Honestly....if you never caught the fight....keep your eyes open for the repeat!!!! clappp

I was the same Mutley - I never watch boxing these days as all of the good fights are on pay per view. Came across the Froch fight by accident when I got in last night, and what a fight!

He was about to lose on a decision (which would have been inevitable in the US) and he batters Taylor into submission with 14 seconds left of the last round! Taylor maybe had a bit more class but Froch had more heart. Great stuff clappp

Mutley it's been on ITV4 a few times so I reckon it'll be repeated again.

Brave decision by the ref after he paggered him for the whole fight and fair play to the Yank for respecting his decision.

Not much of a boxing fight myself but this was good stuff.

A top fight indeed,Taylor has ran out of steam in the past so its no surprise to see it happen again.He had to accept the refs decision as he wasnt defending himself & Froch was punching him at will.I also think he should have been stopped when he was knocked down,I reckon that count lasted 14 seconds instead of the ten.
Gotta give Carl Froch full respect for taking the best available contender in his own backyard.
Mutley,Ill put it on DVD for you next time I see you.

Also caught it by accident (turned it on 30seconds into the first round :)) And was amazed. He was battered and cant believe Mcguigan(?) reckoned there was only 1 round in it???

Amazing punch between his guard to knock him down.

Froch wouldn't put his guard up though would he? Nearly cost him the fight...

I think what McGuigan said was that Froch had only won 'one' round!!!! :wink:
