I wonder if players/clubs have preferences as to which other clubs they'd like to stay up? I think Millwall would prefer playing Brighton next season should they not win the play offs. Ditto Bristol Rovers probably. I think both those sides will go all out to beat us and Carlisle for that reason alone - getting travelling expenditure down must be a factor in some clubs' thinking?

It could be but I doubt if a player on the pitch is arsed about who his team plays next season.

Surely Millwall would want to avoid getting Leeds in thrt play-offs in case there is trouble at both play-off semi final legs, so surely they would go all out to beat Carlisle, who'll have two key players suspended, in order to avoid that.

Err as far as Millwall will be concerned is they have to have the mentality that they will beat whoever is put in front of them!! That tends to be how all teams work. As for being concerned about trouble, That tends to happen in the stands / outside the ground so doesnt effect the players whatsoever!!
