ended.

Budtz 6........Should, and could have been picking the ball out of the net 4 times in one of the most one sided first halves I can remember at Pools. Yet none of them were his fault.

Liddle 4. Absolutely foookin shite. Was the daft bounder wearing slippers? Get a grip Liddle.

Collins 4. Tortured all game. Should have been taken off in the first half. If he had been a boxer his second would have thrown the towel in.

Nelson. 8. Man of the match for me. And on that showing CAN play at a higher level. Yes he made the odd mistake, but he was carrying the ahole back four.

Skarz. 5. I have noticed that you lot rate this lad very highly. Well I dont see it. He offers us nothing as an overlapping fullback at home, and I think Monkhouses game suffers because of it. And he made a shedload of basic errors in the second half......if they had been made by Humphreys.........

Jones 5. A promising player ending the season like he will be a ressie next. Another that needs to get a grip.

Clark 3. The best defender at the club getting destroyed by playing in midfield. He has the turning circle of the QEII. He is to midfield what Ritchie Humphreys was at full back.

Sweeney 5. Annoyed the fook out of me second half, especially that run, brilliant, that ended with arguably the weakest shot ever seen, shit. But he always gives 100%.

Monkhouse 6. Cares, he really does. But wasnt really effective today. Needs a more attcking fullback In my opinion.

Joel 4. The worst I have seen him play for ages. And what a time to do it. Got the shit kicked out of him, but just didnt respond at all. Maybe it really is time to move on.

Nardiello 7. Easily the biggest threat. A very decent first half, not as good second.

Humphreys.....6 We played more football with Ritchie in Midfield than we did all the rest of the game. Infact, we would have been better with Humphreys in Midfield than Clark. I miss Humphreys in the team......he still has loads to offer, and anyone that cant see that, is a fookin baboon.

Parker. 0. When pools made their last substitution, he fooked off down the tunnel.

Overall, a very poor display, and but for Carisle, I think we would be staring at relegation today.

They have to turn over a 5 goal diference, well 6 really, and though I dont think they will do it, I have no faith that we wont help them on their way.

If Carlisle win 3-0, I suspect we will be in serious trouble. Sorry chip, but even the likes of Swindon, with Wislon, and Yeovil are safe now..........we still arent.

The end of an appallingly shitty season, cant come quick enough. I looked at those players doing their lap of thanks, and I swear I was hoping I dont have to see many of them next season.

I have never felt like that before. sadx

crackin post! I concur clappp

I noticed someone having a pop at the number of "proper" fans who stayed behind at the end. Given the crap served up over the last 3 months, I'm not surprised plus for me it took ages for them to come back out anyway.

I had a 5 hour drive home after that game and waited 10 mins before deciding to leave. They still hadn't come out by the time we reached Clarence Road from the Millhouse Terrace.

So I'm no longer a "proper" supporter sadx Being a season ticket holder living in Aberdeen counts for nothing sadx

Good post.

I too hope we have seen the last of the majority of them players. Jones has gone backwards, Liddle has gone backwards (if someone had said to me that I would want him released after witnessing his first few performances, i would have laughed). Parker brings nothing, Mackay is shiit, the keepers are weak (although budtz would probably do as a ressie keeper), Humphries (Really not sure whether we should keep him or not), Collins is poor, Mcunnie ditto.

We need a serious clear out, I just prey we get another manager soon who can choose his own players

I felt you were a touch harsh on Skarz like - he had a fair game imo.

Well with Skarz we have a fullback who can get back and defends better than anyone we've had in that position all season. Stuff the overlapping attack for the moment its defenders we've needed

Liddle has not made the step up to League one at all. Clark must be moved into the back four with Nelson next week. Are you watching the game Turner???
For Gawd's sakes, McCunnie or Jones or Humphreys or anybody who is a midfielder should have been in centre mid alongside Sweeney. Collins on the bench

Fuck me, im agreeding with ADG again. Ben Clark was woeful. I can only guess he has no idea where a defensive midfielder should be playing?? Was further forward than Sweeney half the time and just let them run through the middle. I dont rate Jones (ps what was that two footed tackle all about??) I like Sweeney but for me he is not involved enough iwhen playing in the middle. You should notice a central midfielder but with Sweeney i very rarely do. Liddle was atrocious aswell.

Nardiello only one to come away with any credit. Cracking little run when he kept turning his man again and again. Looks quality player but i doubt we will be able to keep him. sadx

Clark looked like exactly what he is, a centre back in midfield.

Collins looked shit scared of Beckford all game

I've seen better defending on the rec than the way we played first half, they just couldnt clear it, it was basic schoolboy errors, wayward passes and sliced clearences, if we've defended like that all season no wonder we concede so many.

Sweeney has great energy but his final ball/finish lets him down.

I'd deffo sign Nardiello he has potential.

Porter was poor, barely touced the ball.

You aren't a proper fan....

You should of been a whopping and a hollering when they finally managed to drag their sorry arses out and celebrate the fact we still aren't safe from relegation

no, what i said was i was suprised how few stayed behind to say their farewells to porter ( and one or two others ).

fair play to joel, he had a poor game but he hobbled round the pitch saying goodbyes to fans personally and signing autographs for anyone who wanted them, and thats not something that would happen at a big club.

to suggest the first half was totally one sided is garbage of the highest order.

had dibbles best mate monkhouse not missed a sitter we would have been one up. wheras i dont remember budz having to make a save wheras theirs made at least 3.

oh and skarz is on a different planet to sir ritchie.

Missing sitters, chances not taken and so and so forth

We still lost

It would be interesting to see our form against the other teams around us right now, I would imagine we would be bottom of a any mini league posted

Liddle's scooped attempt in the second half was shocking. I would have subbed him there and then for being so crap!!!

to suggest it was a one sided game is thick beyond reason.

it finished 1-0, budz barely had a save to make all game.

its reached the point where dibble is becoming the most clueless poster on here.

and what about the two efforts that rattled the bar jan was nowhere near so dont try to suggest it was closer than it was.

We still lost

One win against The Addams Family hasn't turned us into world beaters

The only thing in our favour now is the fact the sheep shaggers have to play Millwall who hopefully won't capitulate

we lost out in centre midfield. That's where the possession was won for them. We still had some great situations to score during the match but our decision making and finishing was amateur at best.

I agree with Mr Fireball. We had as many chances as them. Theirs rattled the bar; ours rattled the grass. They missed one less chance than us.
If Porter had played anything like his normal game we'd have had our equaliser. If Nardy hadn't run out of steam after an hour we'd have had our equaliser.

That does not mean I'm satisfied we lost. Given we have a dodgy defence I am only happy we kept it down to 1.

jesus christ, are you still banging on about relegation ?????

i bet its a right barrell of laughs around your gaff. you are one seriously miserable fooker.

has it ever entered your tiny mind that pools might not get beat next week ? that they may eke out a draw against a team with nothing to play for ?

we wont go down, there was never any realistic prospect of us going down, it wont happen, it was never going to happen.

You don't even know me you fooking A1 gobshite, I'm far from 'a miserable fooker', but we seem, on the whole, unable to 'eke' out results, a win a month since the turn of the year would indicate this
We aren't safe, I'll be over the moon next week if we manage a point to make it safe

We have been crap all season

That mini table for the last 8 matches, shows us as the third(equal) top scorers, but the second biggest conceders, pretty much sums up our 45 match performance this season.

You really are completely deluded. It WAS a one sided game. While Leeds did not create too many chances they bossed the game and could have quite easily stepped up a few gears had they needed to. They did not need to however. And our chances were not gilt edged ones at all. Monkys was a half chance and Liddles was never going to go in in a million years - It was Liddle ffs. It was men against boys and we never really looked like coming back into the game once they too the lead.

And to say that we were never going to get relegated, Im sure you must simply be having a laugh when you say this - even tubby would not bo so bold/stupid.

It always amazes me how some people have the ability to see what the opposition could do to us if they really wanted to. Thank f**k Leeds didn't get out of second gear, why they could probably have put ten past our useless defence.
