Only have themselves to blame for all the trouble that went on inside the ground today because they were too greedy and didnt make the game all ticket knowing they would make extra cash on the day of the game allowing Leeds fans into the home sections.

The Leeds "fans" that caused the fight today are animals and Neanderthals - this is 2009, for Pity's sake, the human race is better than this sort of thing, but could 'Pools know they were going to go in there and cause that trouble. Because of what happened, Leeds didn't deserve to beat us today, a draw would have been a fair result.

I hope that there is a root-and-branch inquiry by all concerned authorities to discover the truth behind today's disappointing incident and that the perpertrators are brought to justice.

The incident casts a shadow of what was all set up to be a great day ! rage

You are a complete idiot. You were not even at the fooking game so how would you know. Pools world is bobbins and cannot be believed. All the folk around me at the match felt Leeds were the superior team and thoroughly deserved the points. Leeds never got out of 2nd gear and still beat us. They hit the woodwork twice in the first half an hour and should have had the game wrapped up at half time. To say a draw would be a fair result is laughable, it was men against boys. Only Nardiello looked in the same league as Leeds today (and Skarz did reasonably well)

Agree also they looked half paced and capable of stepping it up at any time they deserved to win.

It felt as though we had more than our fair share of chances to win the game. Maybe on another day, one of those chances might have gone in. I admit they had a few dangerous moments themselevs that maybe they should have done better with and with that might have put the game behind doubt.

But it never felt as if Leeds were all over us.

I can't help it you know if I'm only ale to listen to these games on 'Pools World.

They said that there was a fight that broke out with people that must have been Leeds fans in one of the home stands. He didn't say in which stand it was. They said the fighting broke out near the pitch, but the police got on top of it, arrested those involved and carried them off.

There you go again!! - you talk as if you were at the game "I felt as though we had more than our fair share of chances" - you WERE NOT THERE!!!! - in truth we created a few (and I mean a few) half chances - a glancing near post header from a corner (off target) and a liddle shot over the bar. Their keeper made no saves as far as I can recall.

By all means say that the radio suggested it was an even game (it wasnt like) but dont make it sound as if you were there and witnessed it. Your opinions are effectively hearsay.

to get back to the original post..dont the police have some input and advise the club to whether it should be made an all-ticket game or not? Cant exactly see HUFC ignoring police advice, so dont think your FACT is as factual as you say it is. x

What happened to those two excellent chances we had from Liddle and Monkey? Don't they count?
I'm not saying we were as good as the YPs but I thought we put up a better fight against them than against most other teams I've seen this season.

The sad thing is, when the players do show up, like they did today, you see which ones truly are out of their depth no matter how much effort they put in.

ive no issue with leeds fans being allowed into the pools parts of the ground, but given the recent violent history between the clubs anyone thick enough to start working their ticket and goading home fans deserves a good kicking at the very least.

as for those leeds fans who goaded pools fans into fighting and then ran away when it was clear they were going to come out second best, what can one say ????

inbred beggars and tramps. and cowardly ones at that.

i agree fully with chiip - it was only a couple of seasons ago that that Leeds fans came to Hartlepool for a pre season friendly and caused chaos in the town centre bullying locals in the bars. There was already bad feeling. The game should of been all ticket.

The leeds fans that were daft enough to work their tickets got what they deserved....!!!!!

the complete lack of alacrity plod showed when the 2 peasants from leeds invaded the pitch after the goal was embarrassing. my taxes are paying for these useless fookers to do a job, so why dont they fooking do it ?

standing around watching 2 stewards wrestling beggars is not what they are paid for.

giving the current level of council tax, they should have been straight over to the pitch invading tramps, and truncheoning them to death.

it was a meaningless end of season kickabout ffs.

as for whoever brought the leeds united, champions of europe flag, into the ground, death is too good for them.

Fair play to the Leeds fan who brought the Joe.l flag though

So let me get this right, there were Leeds fans in the Milhouse and instead of keeping quiet, they were gobbing off?

Got what they deserved if so.

We should have been three down at half time, lets be honest we were poor. Ben Clark and Sweeney were destroyed in the centre of the park, the only person in our team who got it down and passed was Ritchie when he came on. Before that it was blind panic, FFS get the ball down and play.

Those Leeds fans being ousted and knacked early in the game was one the funniest things I have seen all season, horrible flea bags!!

The leeds fans were let off lightly by our stewards/police - only one muppet who went on the pitch when they scored was thrown out - the other went back aqnd stood in the second row - for all to see - yet at leeds we get thrown out for just standing up !!!!!!!!

All in all yesterdays incidents just showed how useless the police and stewards really are when something actually happens.

They weren't gobbing off, about 20 of them started singing "MArching ON TOGETHER" after ten minutes.

i believe the words should be changed to:

"RUNNING AWAY TOGETHER"

A Leeds fans' video of the events on Saturday... Quite interesting, You still cant tell whether the Leeds fans started singing and set them selves into trouble or not though.

Worth watching, but only for Nardiello's run at the Leeds defence about 4:30 into it.

More "Outed" Leeds Fans I think.

I had a Leeds supporter from London with me all match on the MHT, he kept his mouth shut though, unlike the goons further along.
