I hope that we can keep the lad but just like Duffy, I think he will return to whence he came, especially as we are gaining on Swindon.

According to a Swindon fan on the rivals site he is definitely wanted back there and only came to get his match fitness up.

He adds a lot of stability down the left handside, I like Matty but at times he's a headless chicken and leaves us exposed. He did very well on Saturday and could have easily had another goal. A good signing.

Let's play devils advocate, I don't wanna piss on anybody's party, but he's played two league games, let's just see how he goes. If he'd played exactly as he played in those two games and we'd lost, he would probably be getting stick.
He may well be the best thing since sliced bread, but we've had a number of players over the years who've looked the part for a few games and not performed, so I'd reserve judgement about possible signings till the end of this month.

He's played three games and played well in all three and been an important reason in two of those why we won. No-one is getting over excited, no thinks he is the best thing since sliced bread, people are just saying that Wilson (to date) has made a good signing.

It seems Wilson knows what to look for in short-term loan signings.
Scotty's were a complete waste of time.
Overall, Cooper's weren't really that great.
Newell didn't bother with them.
And Turner signed the Murphy twins

If Duffy and Monkhouse do go back and we can't find what we want in the January window (there is NO guarantee the right players will be available), I think we can still rely on Wilson to pull something out the loan bag.

HE LOOKS LIKE A GOOD SIGNING...all I'm saying is let's see him with a few more games under his belt, I'd say the same if people were slagging the lad off after 3 games...

He is a good player, he needs some competition though...

Should be a lot better than he is. When he's good he's very good, but he drifts out of the game and switches of when we go behind. Has had to work hard this season at times when pushed up front to his credit. Wouldn't be surprised if he went elsewhere. As long as Pools get good money for him I think it would be to bad.
