Really enjoyed my visit to Crewe yesterday. It's what away days should be like.

Easily accesible ground, pubs within walking distance, change from a score to get in, low roof to create atmosphere, friendly plod and stewards, cheap boozer pre match (even if my coke did cost more than the lager!) which was full of Poolies with big screens for the footie, hot weather and a nerve racking match.

I hope they stay up and we can go back there next season at a similar time of year.

The point I was trying to make is that it's a better day out than the likes of Colchester, Brighton, Scunny et al where we've been to recently which are all dumps no decent boozers within half an hour.

I'll be so pleased when Brighton go down (supposing we don't!)
