The second half yesterday was arguably the worst of the season. We lost every second and third phase ball. Time and time again we won the first header from the back, but our strikers and midfield were nowhere to be found.

Our strikers were scunthorpes best defenders. they didnt hold the ball up nearly enough, for so called good players. So it just kept coming back.

And as for our central midfield? rolfl I reckon I would have touched the ball more than Sweeney. And dont even get me started on Clark. If he is a midfielder then I am going down to the club for a trial.

And what fookin defence? They are a joke beyond all jokes. And we really get much better by leaving out Humphreys didnt we? Did we fook. It was a bad as ever.

And the keeper? Comedy classics, incl the first goal. Not the shot, but the roll out, straight to their player that led directly to the free kick. Stupid prick. Yet he still looked better than the other tosspot. banghead banghead

Ratings:

Budtz 5. A few good saves, a few howlers.

Liddle 4. Never a right back. Lucky to be getting a game. Why is he getting a game?

Nelson 2. Pathetic.

Collins 5. The better of the three, so far. Still fooked up though.

Skarz. 5. A better defender than Humphreys, but oh did we miss Humphreys surging over lapping runs. You lot can convince yourselves he is class, but i dont think so. We missed Humphreys yesterday. Oh and he has the same faults. He was skinned a few times, and his passing is wayward. Just like the man you all love to hate.

Jones. 4. Did fook all.

Clark 2. Get him back in defence Turner you fat foookin moron.

Sweeney 4. Ran all over the place, hardly touched the ball.

Monkhouse 6. the only threat out of the starting 11.

Parker -1. Thats for swearing at the town end. Maybe if he showed that kind of agression and anger at the opposition, he might be better.

Porter 4. Rubbish. Ah but he is carrying an injury. So we cant pin any of the blame on him if we go down. Or WAS he carrying an injury? (turner said he got a knock on the knee)Maybe leaving him to "rest" for the crewe game, wasnt such a bright idea afterall......it failed big time didnt it? Offered nothing yesterday, in a must win game.

Nardiello. 7. MOTM. Thats the first time I have been impressed with him. Easily the best player we had. Not that he had much to beat.

Robson.2 He came on, and i dont think he actually touched the ball did he?

Mackay 2. banghead

Turner 2. Foookin useless decisions gave us no chance.

Scuny Fans 1. How shit were they? 300 when going for the playoffs......even I would be likely to travel in those circumstances.

Unfortunately agree with most of that.

Ratings from the Ripper jury?

Budtz- 1
Liddle- 2
Skarz- 6
Nelson- 1
Collins- 3
Jones- 3
Sweeney- 4
Clark- 2
Monkhouse- 6
Parker- 5
Porter- 2
Nardiello- 5
Robson- 2
Mackay- 1

On that performance we deserve to go down. Our only hope is if Carlisle and Northampton want to go down more than our players do.

there's two places to be filled now, between us, Brighton, Carlisle, Northampton, Crewe and (at the moment) Swindon and Yeovil - although it now looks like Yeovil will secure their League One place this Saturday. I mean THEY won't lose two on the trot like we are going to
All faith lost after yesterday - a hopeless defence and central midfield performance and how is it going to improve?
