"With Pools facing two games in three days, manager Chris Turner will be forced to tinker with his side after top scorer Porter picked up a groin strain in Saturday’s win."

He doesn't score away from home anyway, replace him with Nardiello

Its a close call which game he has to miss, if he has to miss one.

3 points off Crewe on Saturday will go along towards being safe, so do you play him then hoping to get a goal off him, and hopefully a win, or do you save him for Scunthorpe on Easter Monday, with the hope that they will be open, as they try to make sure they make the play off's and therefore more chance of a goal, so maybe even winning that game.

I say play him every game till he drops. What the fook are we saving him for? sctatchinghead

We have 5 games left taht is all. I am sure he cant get through that. And anyway, he will be desperate to play to get us enough goals and points surely?

Play him saturday and then give him 48hours intense physio.

Does anyone care what long term damamge might be caused?

Unless he signs a new contract NOW, to stay at Pools. Then we should care. But only then.

In this particular case I think we owe it to Joel not to risk any long term damage. He has been fantastic this season and he didn't even have
to be. He's getting little personal benefit out of it and the club have sh*t on him enough.

Also, I'd rather he missed today and was fit for the rest of the season than play today and it be the last time we ever saw him.

Surely the 'fatfingers' joke has been played once too often? confised
Put away the brandy, Talbot, and take a deep breath. You too can innovate.

Innovative comedy is shite

Old jokes never die, they just get re-cycled

What I should have said was the fat fingers 'joke'.....

But, do you mean to tell me there's actually something called 'innovative comedy'?? Well, there you go, what I say to-day, the world says tomorrow :coool:

Well I don't exactly think it's called innovative comedy, but you get my drift.....
