You are a card, MJ!

Yeovil, dead and buried a few weeks ago and lo and behold they start winning

Pools won't win away again this season, if they get a result at Crewe, I'll eat shite with the flies!

Panic over. Millwall just scored 8 goals and in the other game the Carlisle goal is under siege.

who else thinks, if we lose tomorrow, that's it for us? Yeovil aren't conceding ANY goals at all right now, so even a point there is looking unrealistic given their fighting qualities right now and our non-fighting qualities when we are away
I think it's looking very bad for us - you just know we'll get beat tomorrow now!!!! Come on Pools- prove us doubters wrong!!! I don't have a great deal of faith at the moment - just doubt!!!

And if ANYONE comes on here later today or tomorrow before the match saying 'get behind the lads', they can suck my sweaty knackersack

Get behind them?

You could sing and shout all fooking day, it won't make a difference, the same old faces will get picked and will indeed run out in a 'Pools shirt in August

Yes I will chip

Why is it talking shite?

thank fu-ck for Bristol. If we do win tomorrow, we could put some serious daylight between us and Northampton (and Crewe to boot)
Tomorrow is now more important than last Saturday

Anyway it came in the 89th minute and it was a brilliant free kick. I should know as I'm listening to it.

two out of three ok -ish results I hope. It looks like Yeovil have found it in themselves to get out of it this weekend alone.

Carlisle drawing, Yeovil winning & Northampton losing.

Not the worst results we could have had (assuming it stays the same of course)

the one team we needed to get beat, got beat.

carlisle dropping 2 points was a bonus.

as i said yesterday brighton, cheltenham, and hereford as good as down and northampton need to beat some good teams to save themselves... which looks increasingly unlikely.

oh and peterboro drew so all in all a great day.

But Chip, what about Pools.....

Have we suddenly got a defence who can defend?

Four points from the last six games wasn't much of an ask but we didn't get them. If we go down I'm going to burn your pet porcupine.

When you're in the position we are in looking at the league table, we shouldn't go down. Thsoe below us are all struggling and we will pick up the odd point here and there which should give us safety.

no we havent, but i have already given you a guarantee that we wont go down.

northampton have won 2/14, there's talk of a dressing room bust up, and players in a certain clique wanting the manager sacked.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/footbal ... 989435.stm

they still have to play leeds, mk dons, scunny, southend and orient ( who are flying ) at brisbane road, and hereford.

other than hereford they are all tough games.

pools need 4 points from 5 games. thats not much of an ask, given we do always look like scoring goals.

Thanks for the guarantee Chip,I also think 4 points will now see us safe.

That goal can only have sickened the Carlisle players and fans. My mate didnt want to talk to me last night, when I rang him.

We need to avoid defeat today.

If we do that, then we have a real chance. Even a defeat wouldnt be the end of the world, but it would feel like it.

I would take a draw now, as I have no confidence whatsoever in our players raising their game and getting a win. I just cant see it in a million years.

Yet i can see us beating Scunny and leeds. It just has to be lack of bottle and will to win. Why else do we find it so hard to win away, yet score fun at home?

And its not just winning away, we find it hard to score away. banghead

So, a draw will do. :uhoh:
