Well done to Jan Budtz, cracking save to deny Brandy when he was through at 2-2. Shortly after we get the winner. clappp

how much we have missed that lately, a keeper making a crucial save at a key time in the game!

his kicking was diabolical but he did 'ok' overall.

He saved two certain goals - one in either half, and did nothing wrong apart from his kicking. I'd leave him in - don't change a winning team.

Chris Turner has to take the blame for the predicament we are in, Jan isn't perfect but he is far better than the clown. ALB should of been sent packing after his cowardly elbow on the fleetwood player. He should certainly NOT of been allowed back in the team straight away. What sort of message did that send? The decision to bring ALB back in the team has to be the most stupid and frustrating decision of the season.

I believe Pools' are unbeaten this season when Jan Budtz has started....?

If they'd had scored at 2-2 I think our heads would have gone down and we'd have lost the game. Very well done Mr Budz, that save might just have saved our season.

We lost at Franchise United when Jonny Rowell started.
Although we were drawing when he went off, so maybe that counts.

Strange I remember making the the trip to MK.

If ALB starts next week I will be totally disgusted, did you see the passion Jan but into that display today? He was punching the air like a fan when he made that save from Brandy at 2-2 He went up a long way up in my estimation today. Brilliant from someone who has been made an outcast by the management.

Jan Budtz, I salute you as a person. You are not that great but you have character in abundance.

I am in full concurrence. Budtz MUST keep his place - as he should have done last time.

That's what most people thought last time - and no Poolie in the world thought ALB was going to play against Stoke City after ALB had played pathetically bad for 2 games conceding 7 but he still kept his place. Jan hasn't been given a fair chance in the same way Martin Hollund wasn't when Turner signed Anthony Williams .....

I really hope you are right and Turner has woke up....
