Right.

I have just doen it again.

I can now confirm that with one game to go we will be 3 points ahead of Carlisle, who will be fourth bottom at that time, with a better goal difference of 6 goals.

I have only predicted us to get to 50 points before the last match.

So just to confirm, we will survive.

Well that's a relief. I can go off on holiday now.

I've just had a go too, without being too despondent and pessimistic.

19 Crewe 49 points, -19 goal difference
20 Hartlepool 48, -14
21 Carlisle 48, -19
22 Brighton 43, -24
23 Hereford 35, -38
24 Cheltenham 35, -44

And this relies on Carlisle losing at home to Millwall on the last day and us getting a point AWAY at Bristol Rovers! sadx bbolt

I've done it 3 or 4 times now and everytime i get a different outcome. Not once have we been in the bottom 4, but it goes to the last game evertime. My latest attempt has Carlisle 4th bottom come the end of the season.

I've just e-mailed Chris Turner congratulating him on saving us from the drop.

See you all in August.

No we won't, we'll stay up on goal difference.

Can't you read?

Hereford's Turner reckons 48 points will give them a chance of staying up and I've had a feeling for a while that it will be less than 50 points this season.

Which just proves how utterly pointless these things are!!

I have no idea how we will play tomorrow given our inconsistent nature that has put is in this position so I have bob hope predicting how Carlisle or Yeovil will do. I will put a tenner on a four or five team acculmulator tomorrow, I can almost guarantee I will lose ten pounds

It wouldnt surprise me if the actual points that fourth bottom gets is the highest for donkeys years.

Everyone has a mixed run in, and could easily pick up 9 points each.

If not more.

The problem this season is that no team is too good. Not even Leicester now.

Just been reading about Carlisle's state of affairs and a lot of their fans are all convinced they are going down. They have a shed load of injuries and the manager is making endless amounts of sh*t decisions (played new signing Gareth Taylor at centre half a couple of weeks ago). They've got Leicester tomorrow, if they get anything from that I'll lose all faith.

Yeovil have a load of loanees and apparently should have tonked Northampton but their keeper was MOM, by all accounts these loanees are doing the business and they should have enough to stay up.

Northampton are on the decline big time and although they will have games in hand they still have some tricky games. They've had Swindon, Yeovil and Carlisle in their last 3 games and amassed 1 point.

It's going to be close. Too fcking close.

After doing the predictor thingy, I had Northampton in that 4th bottom spot. But our safety could (According to my predictor) depend on how Northampton get on in their game in hand Vs MK Dons.
