Malta was awful for me, we got there on Christmas Eve and it rained and was freezing cold for the whole 2 weeks. The hotel was poor and rain came in through the edges of the windows, food was crap as 3/4 of the staff were on holiday and the porter was cooking the food.

The only good thing about the holiday was the locals, you could not meet nicer folk, the bars near the hotel were decent also.

When we got back we claimed compensation from First Choice so in the end the whole 14 days only cost us 200 quid and I still think that was too much.

butlins bognor regis, didnt even last the week
followed a close second by alondros apts, costa del silencio tenerife.
we found out on the morning we were to fly out that mrs bus had pleurosy so we thought go ahead the sunshine will help, arrived in tenerife and we were staying at laguna park 2 which we found is on a very steep area and from the apt to reception was too much of a struggle for her so we paid to move to alondros apts as it was on the flat and a nice place said the rep.
into taxi and off to alondros we didnt even unpack as the bugs in the apt were complaining about us moving in.
rep there whats wrong with the apt she says as a fooking big cockroach is crawling up her leg
so next day off to las floritas apts in pdla and a very nice relaxing rest of holiday.
