Their pen- Ball was running away from Theo Robinson and he left a trailing leg. Very little contact. I've sent it to a Welsh ref and he also thinks the player left his leg trailing and he would have been 50/50 over giving a pen but it's harsh on us.

Football is all about opinions but if your going to sent a teams keeper off early on then you've got to be 100% certain.

Their second goal- Very bad defending, went past Monkhouse and Liddle should have got made a challenge at least.

Our pen- Clumsy foul but not worthy of a red card.

Their third goal- Could have been offside but need to see position of other defenders to determine.

Our second goal- Good work by Monkhouse.

No highlights of the handball appeal but based on the fact that even the Southend fans said it was then I'm going to say that it definitely is.

Nardiello's foul- Very bad and lucky not to be sent off. Despite the Southend fans views, Nelson did make contact with the Southend players face. However Southend's number 6 and 7 ALSO did a similar thing so they have nothing to complain about.

Both very silly but I'll hazard a guess and say the players were very frustrated with the way things were going and were letting off steam. If I'd have been told to fucking shut up by the ref and allegedly seen a team mate spat on then I'm sure I'd have lost it a little. If the referee did say that then I can see why he lost control.

However it's definitely NOT the right way to go about it and our players need to be more
