Sorry the link has worked properly. You can find Burton's old ground though if you click on the site and look under the grounds tab.

The first time I went to Rochdale, 1985 I think (we won 0-2, Alan Shoulder and John Borthwick scoring I seem to remember), you could have a slash against the toilet wall and watch the match.

Yup, remember beating them 2-0, and a shitload of chew at/after the game. I got a bottle hoyed at me, they were supposedly Man City fans?
I went on a coach and near the ground their fans were bashing the side of the coach. Sodding inbreds.

I seem to rememeber Dean Gibb missing a volley from quite close after gesturing to his team mates to clear the way and let him hit it. The pitch was as flat as the Himalayas.

Yup, Runcorn. We were on the open terrace behind the goal, Joe got a hat-trick. We spent all day from about 11am in a great pub near the ground, the Gadgie kept bringing us massive steel bowls full of delicious chips and I got royally pissed/ An added benefit was you could still watch the game whilst having a slash! About 6-700 Poolies that day!
The bloke in the pub didn't deliver our meals until quite near kick off. They though they had already served us!

The thing I remember about this day apart from Joe Allons hat trick was the row of chemical toilets in the away end, not enough for the row of Poolies slashing against the wall.

Yes Man city turned up at Chorley, the FA Cup was always game for that type of thing, who remembers Everton turning up at Marine in 75 and Sunderland skinheads chasing the poolies out of the Fulwell end in 71?

I remember Marine very well and in fact not long ago mentioned about the fight with the Everton fans just outside our coach, it only turned out to be Kev our man in China that was twatting the Scousers.
