I would go for the following:

Carlisle v Hereford (D)
Cheltenham v Oldham (A)
MK Dons v Crewe (H)
Northampton v Swindon (D)

That would leave the table as

PLAYED POINTS
Pools 39 43
Carlisle 39 43
Orient 38 42
Crewe 39 42
Northampton 37 42
Swindon 39 42
-----------------------------------
Yeovil 37 39
Brighton 37 35
Hereford 37 31
Cheltenham 38 29

Concurring.

Carlisle v Hereford Away win
Cheltenham v Oldham Away Win
MK Dons v Crewe Home Win
Northampton v Swindon Home win

Is my preferred results

leaves the table like this

North/ton P 37 pts 44
Hartlepool P 39 pts 43
Carlisle P 39 pts 42
Orient P 38 pts 42
Crewe P 39 pts 42
Swindon P 39 pts 41
Yeovil P 37 pts 39
Brighton P37 pts 35
Hereford P 37 pts 33
Che/ham P 38 pts 29

Yes we drop one place, and as Yeovil not playing remain 4 points from bottom 4, but now Swindon's game in hand has gone and we stay 2 points clear of them.

Your way of Northampton/ Swindon drawing leaves us only 1 point clear of Swindon (they also have a better goal difference than us ,by 6) Northampton are only 1 point behind but still have 2 games in hand. So a win for them is better, yes we drop a place but we can live with that for the time being.

Hereford win at Carlisle keeps Carlisle 1 point behind us equal games and a defeat means we improve our goal difference on them to at least 4, we have Hereford at home so hopefully we take the 3 points there meaning we go to back to 13 points clear of them that day.

So I disagreeing

As the cut off point for going into administration is this Thursday 26th I wonder how many if any League 1 sides will take the drastic step. I am not looking at this as a get out of jail card for Poolsbut I have read about 3 teams in our league who may be in trouble, Stockport, Crewe & Chelts.

There could well be more if reports are to be believed with 12 clubs being the number, Southampton & Charlton being the biggest.

How many of the teams below us do you think are eyeing up Pools as being the team they are most likely able to overtake and push into the bottom four?

everyone as we are dropping like a stone and leaking goals, however I feel we can beat the drop we shown on saturday that we can "take it" to a team higher up the league and score goals we need a bit of luck and no more comedy errors at the back we will pick up points.

With regard to the clear out talk who out of our squad to you feel other teams in our division would want as I feel that Brown, Porter, Nelson and Jones would fit into a good number of teams (also Lange when fit), we need to pull these individuals together and that I am affraid stops and starts with the managment staff, (look at blackburn with big sam and spurs, all it took was a change in managment with the same players involved)
