The worry today is that Chris Turner criticised effort, commitment, and attitude. We I think can accept losing if we perceive that the players have gave everything, last week for example I understand (I was away) that the players got a great hand in defeat. What won't do is them falling below that, as they aren't good enough to do that.

I think back today to the Leyton Orient game at home, when it was as if the players were unaware of how big a game it was such was the body language and tempo. If we'd have even done OK in these key fixtures against the likes of Orient, Cheltenham, and Yeovil we wouldn't be having to look over our shoulder.

Somebody needs to get hold of them and get them up for the fight.

Agreed totally but CT is NOT the man to get them up for the fight, recent performances have proved this. At least if we do get relegated we should get rid of CT out of the managers chair (and hopefully his 'yes' man too)

The club are heading for a few bad years and need to have a complete overhaul. There are no quick fixes to get us out of the mire here

Turner is taking us towards League Two and he knows not a thing as to how to go about stopping it.
He has pushed himself back in the frame using his influence with IOR to serve himself, and it will be to the club's detriment sadly.
Not a single football league club other than Pools would employ him in my opinion - not even Chester or Grimsby - but here he is at Pools overseeing another performance like Crewe and Orient, and we know we'll play the same against Hereford and Yeovil and Crewe in the other relegation six pointers.

Maybe it is a bit much but I just cant see us getting out of this rut until wholesale changes are made. If we DO stay up then are we going to see such changes? Im not sure. If we get relegated then maybe it will spur IOR to get a replacement for Laurel and hardy.

Seriously speaking would relegation be so bad? Would our gates fall lower? Im fairly sure we would get higher gates if we were in the top half of division 2 as opposed to the bottom half of division 1.
