I've got this playmat thing for Junior Fruitbat Ripper that plays tunes and stuff, one of which is the old classic, "Who's your father, who's your father, who's your father referee..." which I've been happilly singing along for him.

However, Mrs R is becoming concerned that he might one day join in when the in laws are there and is suggesting that he is taught the correct words, except I only know the words above. confised

Are there "real" words to that tune? sctatchinghead

Any stylee that I recognise will do.
It's not Clementine, is it? The rhythm is a bit similar.

:coool:
The next verse is;
In a cavern, in a canyon,
excavating for a mine
dwelt a miner forty-niner
and his daughter Clementine.

But the last verse is too sad too recite in public.

It is it isn't, but here it is anyway:

By the whore house, on an evening
Was a man she went to see
The son of much sought-after Bridget
And he was a referee

Where's your father, where's your father, etc. etc.

I always prefered "who's the bastard in the black" rendition to be added on to that one as well...

or a striaght the "the referee's a :wanker: but that one is stating the obvious!!
