What you can/can't take on aeroplanes

It's been over two years since I flew light, and I haven't a clue what you're allowed in hand luggage now. When I go to Amsterdam I want to take the following:

2 x pairs of duds
2 x pairs of socks
1 x pair of jeans
2 x t shirts
MP3 player
Camera
Toothpaste

Now I think I'll be OK with the above, but I'm not sure about the rest:

Contact lens solution
Toothpaste
Deodorant

Do you still have to drink some of whatever liquid you're taking in hand luggage? If so I don't fancy necking contact lens solution.

Toothpaste is a no go for hand luggage but any liquids in quantities less than 100ml should be okay, these things chance quite often so it may be best to check with your tour operator or airlines website.

Everything is fine in hand luggage as long as each item is less than 100mml and it fits into a clear plastic bag 100mm x 100mm
