Have read 2 posts that have mentioned/debated owton manor and rossmere.
Would just like to point out that Owton Manor when it was first built officially started at the junction of Brierton lane and Stockton Road. ie opposite the travs.

Ah yes, the "A" block. Which reminds me, I had my second ever grope at a party in Argyll Road. I think a pattern is emerging here. :grin:

My nana moved into one of the first house built in Argyrll Road, I think around about 1948
