after the amount of stick i/we gave them after Saturday, they all deserve a huge pat on the back for tonights result. However we must not rest on our laurels, lets get the points on the board quickly so we can have a comfy last few games.

VERY well done Hartlepool United!

so long as we don't go another half a dozen games without a league win.......... but surely that is a massive injection of confidence.
I had all but given up after Saturday, and I have to be brutally honest here, if they had nicked a late winner even Bill Shankly, Brian Clough and Alex Ferguson wouldn't have been able to lift the players for the rest of the campaign. The game was on a knife edge despite our territorial superiority, and it would have only took one moment of good play from them and the Pools players would have been on the floor.
It never happened - we got the break for once, and now the team has to go and string another couple of unbeaten results together. Another quick win would really push us on towards the 50 point barrier, but a point will still be a good result this weekend if we can follow it up with a win against Tranmere on Tuesday
