Concurring. We can't the management/chairman see this?

Lets be honest Turner cant spot a good keeper to save his life. Last time he was here despite Anthony Williams having a laugh with the Town End and thus getting legend status, he was at fault for so many goals it was comical. We would easily have got the title that season without him in goal.

Could Turner see it? Could he shite.

Come on MJ do you honestly think he had a good game conceding 3 goals.

The usual suspects are roused from their beds and the orgy of whining commences ....truly a condom on the penis of debate.

I don't know, I didn't see the game

Seeing the evidence before leading the lynch mob, goes against the grain for certain posters on here.

I'm no ALB lover myself but he made some fine saves today, and his handling was excellent.

I didnt hear anyone in the away end blaming him for any of the goals either.

But i thought the whole defence was asleep for the equalizer.

Agreed... he's a decent shot stopper at times but that's all he has. He doesn't command his box as he should and he couldn't take a cross to save his life. I think he's the quietest keeper I've ever seen.

He had one of his better games today - still let in 3 goals mind and from where we were, (the other side of the ground) it looked like he could / should have stopped their 2nd although I'd like to see it again to be sure of this.
As someone said recently, some goalkeepers can perform incredible saves, some on a regular basis - these can make the difference between losing / drawing / winning. We've not had a keeper who can do this for nearly a couple of years now.

you mean since Dimi left?
I for one would be happy with anyone getting a shot at the minute... Even Cook, I've never seen the lad play but surely if he's got as far as he as through the ranks at Newcastle he must have something about him.

Yes Mr T (or can I call you the Crack Fox, as in your avatar  ) since Dimi left. I guess at this level it's partly down to luck getting a good keeper, for example, a keeper on loan who may be untried or someone from abroad. We've had a mixed bag when it comes to keepers stepping down a division or two. When Dimi first came to the club he didn't start for a while.
I've not seen Cook play either so cannot comment upon him.

It's a piss take ...

Has ALB ever had put in a match winning performance?

he has had 2 or 3 reasonable games since he signed - the rest have been average or mostly woeful..

A lot of teams are only having 3 or 4 shots on target against us and he's letting most of them in. how he even gets a look in at the club after his clowns performance at the vic for the Crewe game is laughable.

I was looking at the league table when the game was on , and i said to our kid we have conceeded the second most goals in the league thats why we are 7 points in the league and i have to say that could be down to four points after leicester city come and cause us major troubles.

End of the season ALB and Budtz should be released or we could be in another dog fight in league 2

I know i am talkin all ALB (Ifs) and Budtz (Buts) but it could happen rage worrying times ahead for us poolies

In what imaginable way is it the ALB fan club. Two people who were both at the game, said that he had one of his better games but still had reservations. Others like me, who weren't there, said that we were in no position to judge what sort of game he had.

He actually made TWO saves yesterday, two I tell you, I felt like getting out some bunting. Sadly his goaline still appeared to have been glued before kick off meaning he could only watch catchable crosses sail past him.

And that is ALB's problem. He doesn't come for crosses.

I'd say that is only one of his problems. He is a nice lad though I'm sure.

I've said on here long before now that both should have been replaced, but if the car getting you home hopefully, is prone to breaking down, you head for home and pray you make it. It's pointless punching the dashboard every time it backfires because you need it more than it needs you ....... for now. However, if you pass a car hire place on the journey and can afford it, push the banger in a ditch.
