I've implemented the swear filter but not for the usual reason. Most people on here moderate their own language so there's no real need apart from this.

People posting from work usually do so from behind a company firewall. These tend to block sites of certain 'adult' content and these are ranked by a number of things - swear words being one of them. So I've blocked the usual words in order to avoid being listed as an adult site.
