....and I don't just mean the Ref!

We started OK, got the goal after a decent cross from Gibb (wasn't sure if Eifion got a touch as it crossed the line, I'd give it to Sweens myself) and Macc looked to have nothing to offer. We relaxed too much, let them come back into it and then just on half time there was a melee in the box, Seeens got send off and penalty. Not too easy to see what happened, Wilosn and the players reckon it hit him in the face, someone next to me reckoned the ball was blasted at him from about 2 yards distance making it definately ball to hand.

However I felt we should still have been able to win even down to 10 as Macc were to be honest woeful - we weren't much better first half either to be fair, but then we didn't need to be. After the break though too many players went missing. Eifion had been causing trouble but when put on the right wing was wasted; Robson did little on the other flank after coming on for Gibb at HT; Bullock might as well not have been on the pitch and Daly had a poor game too. Boland did OK I thought, Nelson and Clark OK too. However we wanted to take too many touches at it and rarely put in a telling ball never mind got around to shooting.

Yes we had some players missing, but so did they and they'd only won once in the whole season before today. Our opponents were not a decent side, they were very poor but we let them have too much room in midfield. What it shows me is how thin our squad really is - we had to play Sweeney left wing for pity's sake, and we certainly didn't have anyone on the bench that looked capable of coming on and providing a threat going forward.

We need a clear-out and rebuild, but I'm not holding my breath on January for that - we need to get rid of liabilities like Bullock but no club is going to want him on current performances and the same goes for a few others.

One positive - it didn't rain!

And to a lot of the rest too to be honest, though I feel we would have been fine 11v11. But we still should have done better than we did second half.[/quote]

We are better than this surely Macc ARE the worse team in the fotbal league and we made them look half decent second half was laughable regardles of only having 10 men!!

We had no quality on the pitch, neither did maccs, but if you have no quality you have to battle, maccs did we didnt, therefore the players dont give a foook about us and neither does wilson.

Clearout required, including manager.

We are shoite. End of.
