Apologies for the technical question on here:
I've just been blasted online by my windows site showing I have loads of critical infections, leading me to scan them with antivirus 360 which I downloaded. Of course, I have to pay money to fully uprgrade to delete them all (if they exist) and antivirus 360 keeps blasting me every ten seconds with annoying bright pop ups such as Internal Conflict Alert. I'm doing a full scan with Norton 360 and am trying to uninstall this new imposter but I cant find it on my list of programs, only a couple of shortcuts.
Anyone got any idea?
Thanks

first thing you need to do is get rid of norton, it causes more problems than enough, kaspersky is the best, it was £20 (i normally dont buy software) but this is well worth it!

Nowt at all wrong with free AVG. The annoying thing about Norton is that it causes more problems than it solves and you have to download a special programme just to get rid of it. Even after doing that you have to go in and find all the little snazzy bits it's installed out of the way and delete them one by one.

There is nothing wrong with the free version of AVG, I have used it for years but every now and again a virus gets through and can cause havoc.

The super antispyware despite having a stupid name is simply the best anti spyware/virus program you can get and the best bit of all is it's free.

If any board member wants to bookmark the page for future use it would be a wise decision.
