It's a fire sale, because the writings on the wall. Mind you, why any self respecting Pools fan should be concerned and actually be applauding their action, is beyond me. Also. it should certainly not allow Sunderlands actions to be used as some sort of crude lever against Pools pricing policy. The two clubs are operating in entirely separate financial environments. If Sunderland were charging 50p for a season ticket, I still wouldn't go, I support my team. I don't go round pimping for the cheapest ticket offer, it's not a fooking supermarket.... once you do that, you've lost the plot. :roll:

Obviously Sunderlands idea is to get more people going to their games during a recession, as is Colchesters policy of a quid a kid for the their home game against us.

Why anyone wouldn't welcome similar initiatives at pools is beyond me.
