The ref probably gave it because Nardiello's foot was near the keepers head but thats not Nardiello's fault. If their keeper wants to act dangerously then that's not his fault.

I stand by the view that if he had been challenging an outfield player he wouldn't have even got booked.

It's a shame because I'd be really excited to see a Naridello/Porter strikeforce tomorrow with Lange coming on for the last half hour. rage

I expect a red card every game.

That speaks volumes about the standard of refereeing, even the premiershit matches are getting ruined by poor refs who seem to want to be in the limelight as much as the players.

I watched a VERY interesting slow-motion/different camera angle of the incident yesterday, yet my opinion from 20 yards away on Tuesday remains the same. it was NEVER a sending-off, and Nardiello's foot touches the ball first.

Isnt that irrelevant these days??? You can win the ball and still get sent off for being too rash and gungho.... you can win the ball with a two foot challenge, is that legal in the game..... No.

he didnt go in with 2 feet tho ? stpid stpid

its not just the refs tho its the inadequate, never quite made it linos as well.

the tosspiece on the line on tuesday night spent ridiculous amounts of time waving his flag wildly to bring the refs attention to " fouls" a million miles away that he had spotted and yet managed to miss two balls going out of play for a throw in ( his main fooking job ffs ) within 6 feet of where he was stood.

the " foul " he flagged for against henderson in the corner near the end of the game was possibly the most bizzare decision ive ever seen.

the bottom line is that this old tw@t with the flag wasnt happy just giving throw ins and offsides, he wanted to ref the game as well.

i hope he dies soon.

rolfl rolfl angry??
