I see that Jon Bass is playing for Salisbury tomorrow, I still think the bloke was never given a fair crack of the whip here.

I agree but wasn't Jack Ross signed as his replacement? Although Ross could be criticised for certain things, most of his performances were very very good. And Bass was nowhere near as good as him......

I remember the only game I seen him play as a full back and he did very very well.

In hindsight I know what you mean but Jack Ross was/is a far better player and we never knew he was all soft and wussy and wanted to go back home.
Bassy was reasonable in my opinion, no better. Not as bad as many made out but no better than someone like Barron, in fact worse.
