One of my friends currently works for Hartlepool and District Hospice. He's asked if I would post this on the board...

Would anyone be interested in bidding for an original signed copy of the 1972 Hartlepool United single Never Say Die / Who Put Sugar In My Tea? The record has been signed by George Potter, Bobby Veart, Bill Ward, Ken Ellis, Ron Young, Malcolm Dawes and Neil Warnock.

All proceeds from the sale will go to Hartlepool & District Hospice.

There is a reserve price of £20 and all bids must be posted here by 12:00 noon on Friday 6th February. The successful bidder will be asked to provide their contact details and will then be contacted by The Hospice to arrange payment and collection of this rare item.

Thanks again,

Greg

Greg from the hospice has asked me to post the following message...

The record went to tonyparry for the bid of £30. Many thanks to Terry for supporting Hartlepool & District Hospice.

For the sake of clarity, Mr Tony Parry (Dave) and 'Terry' (DugoutPaddy) are two different people although they/we are related. I (Terry) was only acting as a go between for Dave (Tony Parry) and the Hospice although both Me (Terry) and Dave (Tony Parry) are both supporters of the Hospice.

There thats cleared that up then
