...on the radio tonight that West Ham won't have seen anything like Victoria Park. The image will never go away if the players are prolonging the old myths.

Maybe he was trying to scare them

Maybe he was talking of the hurly burly of the atmosphere ..

The crowd so close they can almost touch you..

The baying of the Millhouse Faithful giving you verbal insults for the full length of the pitch.....

Its what football was like before the prawn sandwich brigade at the premiership sanitised it...

Who knows....

But one thing is for sure they WON'T have ever had an experience like it as they have never played us before...

COME ON POOLS ......

Clearly mind games, Matty Robson mentioned 'the bumpy pitch' at the time of the draw. Let's be honest West Ham aren't used to playing in a tight ground like the Vic and I've heard many a manager and player comment on it being an intimidating place to come when it's like it will be tomorrow. I remember when the Bristol City local rag reporter wrote that the play-off first leg was the best atmosphere he'd encountered covering them.

Let's make sure they haven't seen anything like Victoria Park tomorrow, if the place is bouncing they won't have.
